Organizational Structure

Assembly of Founding Members

The Assembly of Founding Members is the institution’s governing body and is made up of an equal number of Costa Ricans and North Americans. It is responsible for ensuring the fulfillment of the Foundation’s objectives and for preserving its endowment fund. It is also in charge of approving the regulations of the Foundation. The Founding Members render their services ad honorem.

Administrative Board

The administrative functions are the responsibility of a Board of five members: three of them appointed by the Assembly of Founding Members, one appointed by Costa Rica’s Executive Branch and one by the Municipality of the Canton of Perez Zeledon, the Foundation’s legal domicile. The members of this Board also serve ad.ad honorem.

Staff

The Administration of the CRUSA Foundation consists of an Executive Direction, a Projects Direction, and an Administrative/Financial Direction. For certain specialized tasks, CRUSA relies on the services of external collaborators.
