Mr. Pedro Dobles Villela
Mr. Dobles, age 56, has been serving as Vice-President of Pipasa Corporation since January 2005.
From October 1995 until July 2003, he served as the General Director of Florida Ice and Farm (Cervecería Costa Rica), a brewery that is publicly traded on the Costa Rican Stock Exchange. His responsibilities included overseeing all of the company’s operations. Prior to that, starting in 1976, Mr. Dobles served in a variety of positions at the company, including Finance Director, General Controller, and Deputy General Director. Since August 2003, he has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of Grupo SAMA, one of the largest consortiums in Central America. Mr. Dobles, who is fluent in English and Spanish, received his BA in Industrial Engineering from the University of Houston and his MBA from INCAE Business School. He also attended complementary strategic marketing management seminars at Harvard Business School in June 1993 and business strategy seminars at Columbia University in 1991.
