About Us CRUSA's Certification SGS / NGO Benchmarking
The “NGO Benchmarking” exercise that resulted in SGS certification for our organization deserves special mention. After a rigorous audit that assessed 97 of the best management practices applied by the most prominent NGOs worldwide, the prestigious international organization Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS) certified that our operational and administrative procedures comply with international standards of security, efficiency and quality.
This NGO Benchmarking process involved comparing CRUSA’s performance against a set of criteria or reference standards for international best practices applied to Non-Governmental Organizations (Board of Trustees, Strategic Framework, Integrity Management, Communication and Public Image, Human Resources, Fundraising and Resources Allocation, Outcomes, Financial Controls and Continuous Improvement). The CRUSA Foundation obtained an overall score of 93.3% and was awarded NGO Benchmarking certification for an 18-month period.
